Kathmandu's water tends alkaline, so most pools here need pH pulled down, not up. Dry acid is far safer to store and handle than muriatic acid and doses predictably.
Keep pH between 7.2 and 7.6 — chlorine works twice as hard at 7.2 as it does at 8.0.
