The brief
A plunge pool on an existing rooftop, which meant the structural engineer set the rules: minimum dead load, no cracking, no leaks — ever.
The build
We spread the load across the roof beams, used a lightweight shell build-up with a double waterproofing system, and tucked the whole plant into a weatherproof cabinet beside the stair head.
